The South End Technology Center @ Tent City is a 501(c) 3, Timothy Smith Learning Computer Learning & Education Center. Since 1997, SETC annually serves over 800 children and adults, ages 5 to 82. The SETC supported by foundations and volunteers, allows most classes to be offered free of charge, or for the nominal cost of books and course materials. Through our computer recycling program, the impact of the center has reached the global community with distribution of equipment to organizations in countries such as South Africa, Uganda, Nigeria, Cameroon, Haiti, and Cuba.
